12 Apr Groundwork for good greens

In springtime the greens grows most. Just like bears the plants wake up with growling stomachs. With the base fertilizing you fill up the supplies for the season. Some plants, trees and bushes Is happy with that – but some require more during the summer.

Stable fertalizer – animal excrements to be frank – is excellent for fertilizing in the spring. It’s a good thing to vary the kind of fertilizer from year to year. The plants like vaiation in therir diet, just like humans. You might also top up with Algomin®, rock flour or bone meal. A couple of weeks later you can add chicken manure as an extra kick of nitrogen.

Later on we’ll come back to the summer fertalizer.
