A decorative black cabbage with sober silvery gray-green lobed leaves and a mild cabbage flavor. Young raw leaves are tasty in salads. Cook in a frying pan with olive oil and a generous amount of garlic for a delicious side dish.
HOW TO GROW
Grow in a vegetable patch, garden bed or cultivate inside as a micro green. Thrives in a sunny position and grows to about 70 cm height. Can withstand cold. Pre-cultivate indoors 1-2 months before planting outside. Sow directly outdoors March-May or in the fall for an early spring harvest. Cover the seed with a soil layer twice the seed´s thickness. Germinate optimally at 15° C.
